“Flood Med Restoration came to the rescue when an appliance leak had gone unchecked in a home I was renting out. The damage was quite extensive and upon further investigation, I realized that improper ventilation caused a large accumulation of mold build up in this area of the home in addition to the water damage. As a landlord, both the water damage was a concern and even more so, the mold concentration, for health reasons. Flood Med managed a multi-phase process to completely dry-out the area, and worked to minimize the amount of demolition required while ensuring all areas of mold were removed. They rebuilt the area to specifications that were better than the original, and even managed the process of an independent party certifying the room was cleared of mold particulates and restored to a safe level. Additionally, they worked hand-in-hand with our insurance agency to ensure that all steps were properly documented, and worked directly with our adjuster to answer questions. Tom and his team of professionals were quick to the scene, did fast work, communicated status throughout the process without being asked, and worked around my tenant’s schedule. At the end, they also provided a detailed summary report for insurance purposes.
